All skating session are one hour during term time Mon-Fri except the following sessions: Mon-Thu 1600-1730.

All ice rink visitors over the age of 18 must be in receipt of an NHS Covid Pass and be able to show this pass on request upon entry.

This ice will sometimes be coned off in order to accommodate our courses, or private hires appropriate limitations on ticket sales have been placed on these sessions.

You can book your tickets online up to 15 mins before the next public session.

Spectator tickets - Spectators must be accompanying a full ticket purchaser
and cannot buy a spectator ticket on its own.

Is the ice rink safe to visit?
As a responsible venue operator we will be operating in-line with government guidance and industry best practice..
You'll continue to see measures, such as hand sanitiser stations, and we have significantly reduced the capacity for each session, to ensure there is plenty of space for everyone.
We are continuing to frequently clean and sanitise touch points across the venue, both front of house and backstage areas.


Can I hire skates?
Yes, this is included in your booking fee. We have sizes from baby 6 to adult 13.

What if I have never skated before?
Don't worry, just come and give it a go! Beginners, nervous or infrequent skaters and children are advise to book a session with one of the coaching team or attend a course prior to skating.

Do I have to wear a face mask?
A face mask is required, unless medically exempt, during their time in the facility, but can take them off on the ice.

Will you provide hand sanitiser?
Yes, hand sanitiser will be available throughout the ice rink.


Are there changing facilities?
The changing rooms will be closed to support social distancing. Please come ready to skate.

When should I arrive for my skate session?
We suggest arriving a maximum of 15 minutes before the start of your session.

What cleaning regime do you have in place?
We have increased our cleaning practices and will be cleaning the space at regular intervals throughout each day.

Are there toilets?
Yes, toilets are open at the rink.

Do you have baby changing facilities?
Yes we do.

Is the cafÚ open?
Yes, the ice cafÚ is open

Do I have to book?
Yes. If you want to skate we are asking people to book online.

Do you have a cloakroom?
We do not have a cloakroom or lockers available. We request you come dressed ready to skate, which includes being able to keep any valuables on you as you skate.

Do you have a car park?
Yes, our East Court car park is open. It is free to use but we suggest a donation of ú3 to help with the running costs.

Can I hire a skating aid?
Yes but it must booked online in advance to guarantee your scooter.

Do I need to accompany my child on the ice?
Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult when booked onto a public skating session. Beginners, infrequent skaters and children are advise to book a session with one of the coaching team prior to skating.

Will the whole rink be in use when I skate?
Areas of the ice may be coned off for other use during public skating sessions.

Can I re-enter the ice rink?
There is no re-entry once you have been admitted into the ice rink for your skating session.
